One huge downside is that the {{y|Kewl Tune Synchro}} locks on tuners, so you'll mostly see pure lists, with the addition of {{y|Zalen the Shackled Dragon}}.

Kewl Tune

Various tuner monsters that make the synchro mechanic work more like fusion, since they can be used from hand as synchro material and also activate effects when used for a summon, paired with plays during the opponent's turn. Can be considered rogue for now but after BLZD it'll gain some huge power cards.

General Counter Tips:

Denying the SS won't stop the materials' effects, so prioritize any move that can prevent it or make it go to waste. Regarding the effects, do remember that they can choose the order and so chain block some effects they need. While this is still less powerful than in Dracotail the usual negations will have less impact.
