Explanation:

Shifter does not hit this deck very well, with the sole exception of cutting off some combo routes

it doesnt stop Medius the Pure Medius the Pure from summoning the Power Patron DoomZ Power Patron DoomZ but it does cut off his own summon from GY effect he can use once per turn.

it also cuts off Theorealize Theorealize as it needs to send Medius to GY specifically for Cost.
