Shifter destroys the main part of Branded's gameplan- the constant looping of Graveyard effects and Fusion material, however, cards like 
Lubellion the Searing Dragon and 
The Dragon that Devours the Dogma allow the Branded player to still recycle cards, enabling a grind game once Shifter ends.
