Evil★Twin
🇯🇵 ・🇨🇳
Evil★Twin/Live☆Twin is an archetype of vtubers who really want to summon their counterpart.
Live☆Twin Ki-sikil (Pink) and
Live☆Twin Lil-la (Blue) both summon the other corresponding monster from deck, their Link varients,
Evil★Twin Ki-sikil and
Evil★Twin Lil-la summon the other from Graveyard. Without additional engines, the endboard of Evil★Twin will consist of
A Bao A Qu, the Lightless Shadow and
Evil★Twin's Trouble Sunny- a Pop or summon of a Light/Dark fiend, and a quick effect summon of both a Ki-sikil and Lil-la, usually the link monsters (Pink draws a card when summoned if a Lil-la is on field, Blue will target pop a card on field when summoned if a Ki-sikil is on field).
The support in Alliance Insight, however, made the deck into a fantastic engine for Fiendsmith-
Evil★Twin Ki-sikil Deal is a light Fiend who foolishes a Lil-la for cost (read:Ash does nothing), and
Live☆Twin Lil-la Sweet can summon herself from GY if a Ki-sikil is on field, turning normal summon any Ki-sikil into both full Live☆Twin and Fiendsmith combo. The board will typically end on
A Bao A Qu, the Lightless Shadow and
Evil★Twin's Trouble Sunny, and either
D/D/D Wave High King Caesar or
Fiendsmith's Lacrima with
Lacrima the Crimson Tears in GY, allowing for plenty of interruption and recursion.
Was previously used as an engine for Spright, as all the maindeck Live☆Twins are level 2, and the pink and blue link monsters are both link 2.
General Counter Tips:
Preventing a Ki-Sikil from hitting field is the single most important part of playing against this deck. If a Ki-sikil does hit field, it's either imperm the Lil-La link, or Nibiru them.
If they are on the Fiendsmith variant, always Ash the Requiem, if they normal summon a Ki-sikil. You won't have a better spot to Ash them

Lil-la is a last-resort starter for the deck, as it summons Ki-Sikil, who single handedly leads to full combo. Channel is the same thing, it is used to find any Ki-Sikil, to begin the long combo. | Usable | View Edit | ||

If the deck gets stuck on a blue Twin, with no access to Ki-sikil, it functionally stops in it's tracks. There are ways the deck CAN pivot, especially in Fiendsmith or Spright variants, but getting stuck with nothing but a blue Twin makes the deck just. Halt. | Great | View Edit |
