Chimera wants to bridge to Fiendsmith or Azamina cards through Link and Synchro. Only Imperm Berfomet if you think they're running pure Fusion version with Pure Chimera, Hecahands, Luce, or Yubel.
For Nightmare Apprentice, They use it to search Cornfield OR Elzette. For Beformet, They search use it to search Chimera monster and Chimera Fusion, +2 for them but locks them into Fusion cards.
Caution: They can negate the Imperm if they have Cornfield in the GY and "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast" fusion card on the field. If you think they already have a Chimera Fusion on their hand want to stop them from building a certain route for Azamina and Fiendsmith routes: Imperm Fiendsmith Sequence, It stops them from building King Ceasar or Desirae, useful if you have a Nibiru or Bystial as follow up and they haven't normal summoned yet. After Elzette activates fusion to fuse with a Chimera name: Imperm Azamina Moa Regina, It stops them from reviving Elzette, and stops them from making Chaos Angel to search Sinful Spoils Deception and go to Azamina Silvia for their Omni-negate. | Great | View Edit | |

Imperm is one of the best handtraps you can play into K9, as it does not turn on the Izuna or Lupus, while still providing a lot of value. Noroi is a 1-card Rank 5 if it's allowed to special summon, and Izuna functions as one as well, if you've used a monster effect in hand or GY. Imperming Ripper allows you to still have a spot to Nibiru while also stopping the deck from searching, but you might not get to 5 summons there.
