Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous

It's Maxx "C". You let that fire whenever you get the chance to. At worst, you get 1-2 draws off the Branded player setting up a play during your turn, but it's a much less usable board. At best, you're drawing 5-10 cards and draw into additional handtraps.

Enneacraft - Atori.MAR Enneacraft During Draw Phase

Enneacraft needs to fill their board as much as possible, and they need to Special Summon to do so. A full Enneacraft board will net you 4 draws (a good Enneacraft player will normal set their final card).

Sacred Fire King Garunix Fire King As soon as possible

Well it's Maxx "C", you're gonna get at least two cards if they set up a small board, even more if they think the link plays are worthy. But it doesn't completely force a turn skip.

Ghoti of the Deep Beyond Ghoti

Level 2 Ghoti Monsters' SS effect from banish zone (On Standby)

Be careful when using it on the Ghoti player's turn.
Ghoti monsters tend to be Summoned more often during the opponent's turn than during its controller's turn. UsableView Edit
Gimmick Puppet Fantasix Machinix Gimmick Puppet ASAP

Very swingy. You either can't actually use the resources you draw in the next turn (you get FTK'd) or it's game over for the opponent on the spot if you happen to draw a non-monster handtrap at the right time. Depends wildly on your deckbuilding.

The Man with the Mark Odion Prefer in your SP if they go first

- Good to use in your turn, after opponent setup, because will probably get 2 draws from Apophis the Serpent Apophis the Serpent and Apophis the Swamp Deity Apophis the Swamp Deity special.

- If using in MP, they will chain their Trap monsters, lessen the card you draw (the Trap only can be activated in the MP)

Ragnaraika the Evil Seed Ragnaraika

As soon as possible after resolving Ragnaraika the Evil Seed

Ragnaraika the Evil Seed 's search effect.

Most Ragnaraika monsters are Special Summoned without starting a Chain.

Since this theme performs many Special Summons, and Link Summon is also required to activate its Trap Cards, Maxx "C" is extremely effective.

Sky Striker Ace = Zero Sky Striker

Sky Striker will massively struggle to break boards going 2nd if you draw into non-engine cards using Maxx "C". As they need to special summon multiple times to access their resources.

Trickstar Light Stage Trickstar

Trickstar Hoody

Trickstar Hoody's summon from hand activation.

Be very, very careful about activating it. A burn-focused Trickstar deck will take full advantage of your draws by summoning 2-3 Lycoris and FTK you. However, modern lists usually only play 0-1 Lycoris now, since she produces no extra field presence for Link plays. If you know your opponent is on Lycoris, don't use it or be cautious. If the Trickstar player searches Hoody with Candina, you're safer to use it.

Yummy can set up a reasonable fiend under Maxx C (Snatchy + a Level 1 and pass, Surprise set is 2-4 interruptions - Cooky Way flip, Acroquey pop, Cooky pop / Lollipo banish, Surprise bounce).

Also they should often have 2-3 handtraps to back it up.
