Tips:
  • One advantage compare with Infinite Impermanence is Effect Veiler is a monster, can be use at material for Extra Deck Summon (Link Summon, Rank 1 XYZ, or Syncho by Level 1 Tuner)
  • Being Level 1 Light Tuner, Effect Veiler is searchable in Blue-Eyes deck with Sage with Eyes of Blue and Wishes for Eyes of Blue

The optimal targets should be non archetypal monsters like Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames, this interaction in particular stops the setup. Jurrac Meteor Jurrac Meteor will always be played on your turn but in the rare occasion it's not you should try to stop it.

1. Use it immediately when your opponent summons it onto the field, because if you let it activate its effect, Veiler will be useless. Samsara D Lotus should be the priority.

2. Spirit of Yubel can dodge the target effect with Unchained Soul of Sharvara or Gruesome Grave Squirmer, so consider this when using Veiler on it.

3. If your opponent starts their combo with Dark Beckoning Beast, using Veiler here will help you stop their combo.

4. When your opponent starts their combo with Fiendsmith, use Veiler on Sequence. This prevents them from accessing D/D/D Wave High King Caesar (2 times Special Summon negate) or Aerial Eater to create a bridge to Yubel.
